What differentiates MOKSH?
MOKSH is first and foremost a Single Pool Operator and will remain that way. I am a freelance IT professional who waded into the world of digital currencies in 2014 when I first learned about Bitcoin. Intrigued by the concept, I started exploring more, reading everything I could get my hands on and very soon was deep down the rabbit hole. After witnessing how divided the Bitcoin community was around the time of the hard fork from BTC to BCH, I realized the importance of governance and sustainability. Soon after, I discovered the whiteboard video from Charles Hoskinson where he talked about the three pillars of Cardano - Scalability, Interoperability and Sustainability. Cardano was the only project at the time (that I was aware of) that was talking about community, governance and sustainability. I have been a believer in the Cardano project since 2017 and started focusing on ADA recognizing it's potential. I participated in the ITN as a delegator and have seen Cardano grow from a small community into the network that spans the globe today. Taking cues from the Bitcoin community FUD that I witnessed in 2017, I stay clear of obnoxious and disingenuous YouTube "influencers" and their frivolous price predictions and platitudinous Twitter posts intended to drive meaningless engagement. I try to stay focused on the technology, scaling and decentralization aspects of the project.
I started this pool in November 2021 when I realized that the threat to decentralization by multi-pool operators was getting worse. Although they are in the clear to do so as long as they have delegators, I believe the long-term sustainability of Cardano depends on single pool operators.
MOKSH stake pool offers high pledge (Top 5 SINGLE pool operators with most pledge ), 1% Margin and and a low pledge leverage (low leverage = more "skin in the game"). Every Cardano delegator should be aware of these parameters. More information about how to find a good stake pool to delegate to can be found here.
MOKSH uses pool rewards to fund life-changing healthcare for underprivileged families around the world. Please see our projects page for more information.
Pool-related statistics are available here.
We look forward to your delegations!
